Perrish Cox improves workout numbers

Oklahoma State cornerback Perrish Cox may have the chance to wear the NFL jersey. He is encouraged about his progress since the NFL combine.

According to TFY Draft Preview, Cox ran the 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds with the wind and 4.57 seconds into the wind as 10 NFL scouts attended the workout in his hometown of Waco, Tex. In Waco, Texas, ten teams showed up to watch Oklahoma State cornerback Perrish Cox workout. Cox also posted a 6.7 three-cone drill, an 11.62 in the 60-yard shuttle and a 4.22 short shuttle. Cox was not allowed to work out at the Pro Day or use their facilities because of his suspension for a pair of curfew violations at the Cotton Bowl.

Bucs holding out hope on Crowell

I wasn’t in the shape I am now."

He said he has to be patient. he cant wait for Tuesday. His family is ready to see him do his thing.

Karl could not there until next season

Titans get Jason Babin

Broncos signed two players

NFL will deal with the dispute

The NFL have exchanged disputing whether players with NFL jerseys will have to cuts as part of a new collective bargaining agreement.

After the NFL wrote on its labor Web site last week that no player would take a cut as a result of its proposal, the NFLPA responded Tuesday by saying— tongue in cheek—that it was ready to sign a deal guaranteeing that the salary cap won’t be lowered and there will be no reduction in retired players or other benefits under the CBA.

The current CBA expires in March 2011 and NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith has characterized the possibility of a work stoppage as a “14” on a scale of 1 to 10.
