Tomlinson says he is in Jets

LaDainian Tomlinson is finished his talking about the San Diego Chargers. The Jets running back said everything was taken from him in Chargers because the team highlighted more on passing than running the football. He refused to make a comment.

Tomlinson said as a guy who gave so much to the organization for nine years, he felt he could express his opinion. He was done with it and he really wish them the best -until they play them. Tomlinson ran for a career-low 732 yards and 3.3 yards per carry last season, but he said he can do more than just being a running back nearing the end of his career. The film may misleaded the views. Tomlinson signed a two-year deal worth about $5.2 million with the Jets last month. The comments arised some different voices among the players with chargers jerseys, but general manager A.J. Smith denied public comment.

Tomlinson said he was not surprised by A.J. Smith having some hard words to say and a couple of writers from San Diego tried to get in touch with him and told him about the information.

Giants QB Manning thinks McNabb trade rumor shocking

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning were shocked by the trading of QB Donovan McNabb with eagles jersey.

“It’s shocking that a guy who’s been such an important part of their organisation, that they’d want to get rid of him,” Manning told Reuters after an appearance in New York. “He’s had great seasons these last couple of years.” Manning is coming off an 8-8 season that left the Giants out of the post-season for the first time in five years, while McNabb drove the Eagles into the playoffs with an 11-5 record. Both teams play in the NFC East. According to local media reports the Eagles have been testing the market interest in McNabb and are prepared to play the next season with Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick as their quarterbacks.

Donovan has been an amazing player for the Eagles, a staple of their organisation.

Bucs holding out hope on Crowell

Angelo Crowell still wears the buccaneers jersey.

The Bucs re-signed the veteran linebacker to a one-year contract today after he missed all last season with a torn biceps muscle suffered in preseason. Crowell had signed with Tampa Bay 12 months ago, getting a $1 million signing bonus in a one-year contract from new general manager Mark Dominik. No big deal, right? Well, Crowell was coming off knee surgery that had forced him to miss the entire 2008 season. Maybe Crowell will have a chance to make good on that signing bonus the second time around.

Tampa is desperate for help at the receiver position. Bradley is not considered dependable.

Karl could not there until next season

Players with nuggets jerseys might not meet coach George Karl back on the sideline until the playoffs begin next month.

Adrian Dantley has served as acting head coach for eight games since Karl announced just after the All-Star break that he had been diagnosed with cancer. Dantley is 5-3 in those games. The Nuggets (47-24) are tied with Dallas in second place in the Western Conference standings and are clinging to a one-game lead over the Utah Jazz in the Northwest Division. They’ve lost two straight games, at home against Milwaukee, and at New York on Tuesday night, which kicked off a crucial five-game trip.

Karl, who beat prostate cancer a few years ago, is undergoing treatment and has missed the Nuggets' last three games.
